Why The Members Only Blog?

I know that it seems weird that I have a members-only blog immediately upon launching my website. The reason for this is two-fold.

1. I am an artist, a writer and while I do believe in sharing my work with the world, I believe that the artist should be compensated in some form for the work that they put out into the world. The members only blog is an exclusive look at my poetry, both past and present. The members-only blog allows me to give insight into the poetry that will possibly go into future books and allows me to share work that I am currently working on while giving detailed reasonings behind the words.

2. As with my TikTok account I like making sure that I give back to causes that are important to me and my community. On my tiktok half of my proceeds go directly to the ACLU. A portion of the proceeds from my members only blog will go directly to The Trevor Project . By adding a paywall to my blog I am able to support causes that support people and the youth in our community.

While it is not necessary to subsciribe to my members only blog, and while I will be posting some works here on the regular blog, the members only blog will be updated far more often.
